Compassion Fatigue is commonly found in healthcare professionals such as nurses, doctors, nursing home staff, and personal support workers (PSW). It is common among emergency responders, including police, military, firefighters, and paramedics. Increasingly, Compassion Fatigue affects spiritual care providers such as pastors and chaplains as well as those providing long - term care for family members. Compassion Fatigue can negatively affect personal and work -life, leaves of absence, job turnover, and resignations. This workshop provides practical information and application for managers, employees, and those experiencing Compassion Fatigue.
